Trading Specialist

Starchem LLC is a growing firm focused on strategic capital management across global financial markets. We are expanding our trading operations and seeking an experienced Forex & Crypto Trading Specialist to manage and grow company-held digital and currency assets through disciplined, performance-driven strategies.

**Position Overview**

We are looking for a highly skilled trader with proven experience in both **forex and cryptocurrency markets**. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing trades, managing risk, and optimizing returns on company capital using structured, data-driven approaches.

This role requires a strong understanding of **market behavior, technical analysis, and risk management**, with the ability to operate independently and deliver consistent performance.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Manage and actively trade company capital across **forex (FX) and cryptocurrency markets**
* Develop and execute **profitable trading strategies** based on technical and/or quantitative analysis
* Monitor market conditions, news events, and price action to identify trading opportunities
* Implement strict **risk management protocols** (drawdown limits, position sizing, stop-loss strategies)
* Maintain detailed records of trades, performance metrics, and strategy outcomes
* Optimize trading systems, including potential use of **automated or algorithmic strategies (EAs, bots)**
* Provide regular performance reports and insights to management

**Requirements**

* Proven experience trading **forex and/or crypto markets** (personal, prop firm, or institutional)
* Strong understanding of:
* Technical analysis (price action, indicators, trend structure)
* Risk management and capital preservation
* Market sessions and volatility cycles
* Experience with trading platforms (MT4/MT5, TradingView, or similar)
* Ability to manage capital responsibly with **consistent performance targets**
* Familiarity with crypto exchanges and wallets (e.g., Coinbase or similar platforms)
* Self-disciplined, analytical, and results-oriented mindset

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Experience with **algorithmic trading / Expert Advisors (EAs)**
* Background in prop trading or managing funded accounts
* Knowledge of macroeconomic factors affecting FX and crypto markets
* Performance track record or verifiable trading history
